Thames and Hudson publication due Summer 2027

New edition collaboration between Piano Nobile Gallery London and Thames and Hudson expanding on the earlier publication ‘Face to Face’ . The publication will feature 300 artists from the Ruth Borchard self portrait collection alongside works by notable British and Irish artists from 1900 to the present day. The self portrait ‘What painting is’ 2014 by Michelle Boyle is included in the publication. Through a diverse range of artistic backgrounds, styles and media, the book traces a lineage of self portraiture through the eyes and experiences of the artists themselves.
